No it isn't worth it over the other SSDS.

That said, of the cheaper value SSD's the MX300 is generally the best.

Not really.

A great in between SSD is the Hynix SL308. Performance close to a 850 EVO but $64.99 for 250GB.

Well the nands they use are diffrenrt. Samsung 850 series is probably the most reliable.

But ADATA is good too

Everyone should own a vive.

the general consensus is that the most expensive sata ssd you should buy is a 850 evo. otherwise go for a nvme ssd like the 960 evo or pro. if not, on the budget side id recommend the pny cs1311 it has excellent performance and a great price.

It's cheaper for a reason.

I'd say stay away from Kingston and PNY. unless you want your SSD to die prematurely xD

I've had 3 Kingston ssds die. 2 where replacements xD

Everyone should own a vive.

go for the pny definitely. the read and write speeds are very nice and the iops are higher than most ssds at this price. i used a 240gb model in a build a few days ago. very satisfied with it.

Then for the case of samsung 850, its more expensive but much more reliable right?

I would recommend either the MX300 or the 850 PRO. The EVO isn't worth the price when the MX is available.

maybe you should read some reviews instead of making untrue claims. the pny and kingston ssds are spoken highly of and in paticular the pny on the hardware canucks review. its true the kingston messed up in the past but their ssds are quite good now maybe not as good as the pny but still good

Samsung 850 EVO drives are very good, their closest competitors are Crucial and WD probably.
