I am going to build a Gaming PC. It will be my first build. Will this work?

Go to solution Solved by Spookshow,

It will work great and crush 1080p gaming. Power supply is a bit stronger then you need but not over kill. Good build imo

It's good but there is no need for Noctua thermal paste the 212 comes with paste

6600K - ASUS Z270i Gaming ITX - 8GB Corsair  Vengence LPX DDR4 2400MHZ - EVGA 1070SC - 120GB HyperX Savage SSD - CX430 PSU:|

PSU tier list-

I have no experience with overclocking, but if the rig is capable i will try it. I chose the i5 6600k because it was the newest intel core without stepping up to the i7.

i5 6500 is better value than the i5 6600k not much difference in performance just with the k variant you can OC and it's not worth the price difference, would be better to get the i7 6700k if you're looking for $ to performance.
