Older PC - Windows 10

Hello everyone,

 

As part of my of schools student council we are sponsoring a family for christmas that doesn't have very much. I managed to put together and old computer with 2-gigabytes of DDR2, a core two duo dual core, and two 80-gigabyte hard drives so the children can have something to do school work on. I was wondering if it could even run Windows 10 as my friend has an extra he is willing to donate. Currently the PC is running Zorin OS, but I don't feel comfortable giving them a Linux systems since it is a bit more complex than Windows. Will it run 10, or should I look for a 7 or Vista Key? Thanks for your responses, it will really help us make this families holiday season better!

it can run windows 10 32bit for sure.

call up microsoft. They will often give free keys to computer refurb and schools.

 

Id run win 7 or 10, they will both be about the same speed wise.

you don't ever have to activate it. then all you end up with is a stock background and a popup that says to give a key.

I've ran W10 64bit on a  e2200

I'd rather run Windows 7 than Windows 10. Windows 7 is more steadily.
