You can't. There is no PS4 emulators available on the PC yet. Nor is there any Xbox360 emulator, or Xbox One emulator or PS3 emulator, at least, none that I'm aware of, that are legitimate and 100% working. (many fake sites on google would make you believe otherwise, but it's all a scam)

Right now, pretty much. There is a Wii U emulator that technically work right now though, but it's still very early in development.

Thanks, now I feel stupid lol

Don't be, it's easy to be misled when you google "ps4 emulator" and you are shown websites like "PS4 Emulator - Emulate PlayStation 4 Games on PC", but those are scams/fake/virus filled.

It's because of the encryption and the way the system is designed. The Nintendo switch might be the only next gen console to be emulated because it is based on nvidia graphics, so in theory it should be easier.

In theory?  Very hard to say. Depends a lot on how easy it will be to emulate and mostly on how well the code is optimized.

Could be a couple dozen of the modern CPU's and GPU's, maybe not.

And you can't emulate now.

Eventually we may see emulation for the PS4/Xbox One. This big issue is that you need many times the power of the console in order to have the overhead needed to emulate the hardware as well as the software.

that was the case when you needed to emulate PowerPC , MIPS or CELL chips in software . All the console's instructions had to be translated to x86 assembly ( or anything else a desktop cpu can understand ).

but the newest consoles are all based on x86 CPU's and standard GCN GPU's , so you don't really need that overhead ( scaling might still not be 1:1 though )

There isn't any translation to be done, which always was what needed so much power to emulate in real time.

the main issue emulator development teams might be facing is mainly security ; getting around the safeguards sony and MS put against this sort of stuff.

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

I actually fine it funny

the old consoles like NES N64 GBA Genasis and so on. Had a much different hardware compare to a standard PC. but they have Emulators.

But the newest consoles with have almost the same hardaware as a PC doesn't.

It's to do with the encryption that console makers put in, and the power required to fully emulate a completely different, very powerful, processor. The PC would need to be magnitudes more powerful than a PS4 and that it totally out of reach for most people.
