Phone with no bezel?

The only phone I can think of is the new "Xiaomi mi mix".

But these are sold out in China within 10 seconds I read on the news lol

So I guess we need to wait long time here in Europe for them.

 

I dont even know if anyone here in EU sells Xiaomi...

Seems the Samsung S8 won't have a bezel...  A new upcoming "Meizu" (also chinese brand) would also have almost no bezel.

The only one is the Sharp Aquos Crystal which is pretty old

it does look amazing, but the bezel were to thin for my comfort.

i believe the mi mix is only china exclusive. you might need to import them

I have 0 expierence with importing expensive stuff so I am too afraid to try that out.

i do know an updated version of the aquos crystal, you might want to check that out. it does have outdated specs like the snapdragon 810

it will not have google services (i believe). it may not work on some carriers, you might need to do some research on which carrier it supports. but all the normal features will work just fine

Thats where you check with your network and the band's they support

 

If the phone has the correct bands that your network uses, you will be fine.

 

OFC importing it + VAT for the europeans will make the price extravagant

 

Xiaomi has considered selling to the US and outside of China, its just a matter of time and copycat laws

As others have said, most Chinese phones don't support the bands you'd need to operate optimally in other countries.

Not only that, you don't get Google Play Services. So if you don't trust importing something, I highly doubt you'd trust using nothing but third party unregulated apps.

 

Just wait until next year, maybe the year after. There's always a chance they'll make an International version. Hopefully the Note 2 sells well and they see that there's truly a demand for them.

 

I really want a Mi Mix as well! Absolutely gorgeous phone, same size as an iPhone 7 Plus but with an inch larger screen.

It's pretty easy, but check to see what your country charges for import fees/duty/tax.
