Massdrop Sennheiser 6xx's

Jonathan W

Massdrop has listed a collaboration between then and Sennheiser to provide these amazing headphones.

Based on the Sennheiser 650s  these headphones are normally several hundred dollars more than the $199USD that Massdrop has gotten these at. There are some slight differences from these to the retail version. The cable is shorter than the retail version and is by default at a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also it is limited to only 5000 units

Currently I've only seen a video about it from Hardware Canucks and I think Unbox Therapy, if/when LTT does one I will link it

Also note that these are the 300Ohm headphones..you will most likely need an amp/dac or something to compliment these

It's still better than trying to buy the normal retail version of these xD ;]

That was an absolute mess. It took me roughly 2 hours to get in the drop. However, it looks like I'm a lucky one since others didn't get in at all.

You wouldnt probably buy it even if you wanted as the website couldnt handle the load. A lot of people including me were trying to buy it from the start and we were not succesfull to get to transaction confirmation.
