Is this comparable to the Intel Core iX

NTDaws

I love making these threads man.

So I want a E3-1220 V5 just because I love working with this kind of stuff. And you guys probably think I am a idiot for buying this but oh well. But I will be using this for everyday graphics designing and gaming. Not video editing, not sure why I put that in on my last thread. What does this CPU compare to out of all the Skylake Desktop CPUs. My motherboard is a link bro.

Thanks guys!

Slower than an i5 6400 and more expensive, but still great performance.

Faster than a Core i5-6400. 3.0-3.5 GHz vs 2.7-3.3.

The Xeon E3-1220v5 also has more L3 cache, though it will only make a difference in a few situations.

Overall it's between the Core i5-6400 and 6500, closer to the latter.

Basically if you say in between, then it would be called like a i5-6450.

if there was such thing.
