Posted November 5, 2016 you could probably play bf1 at medium settings on medium settings with 30-50fps. expect drops Personal build > New-ish AMD main gaming setup PLEASE QUOTE OR @ ME FOR A RESPONSE
 Posted November 5, 2016 BF1 is definitely a negative. The engine has so many computations that running a dual core is going to result in a lot of stutters. My 6600K is usually around 95% for perspective. [Out-of-date] Want to learn how to make your own custom Windows 10 image? Multiplayer NO. Even some older quad cores (Sandy/Ivy) struggles badly in multi-player. Posted November 5, 2016 Author how about like doom? lol and since i don't have enough to get like a 4790k, what would be a good but affordable CPU that I could upgrade to that would allow me a better gaming capability CPU: Intel i5 4690k @4.2ghz MOBO: Asus Maximus VI Hero-RAM:HyperX Fury 8gb PSU: Corsair CX750M-GPU: MSI 390x 8g HDD:WD Green 1TB KEYBOARD: Rosewill RGB8-MOUSE: Corsair Gaming RGB M65
 Posted November 5, 2016 A haswell i5 is the best/only option if you can't afford the i7. Maybe the Xeon e3-1220 v3 though that has a relatively low clock speed and is not overclockable as far as I'm aware. You have a pretty high end motherboard for the pentium anniversary, you could have used a basic h81 motherboard for that chip and still got a 4+ghz overclock. If you can find a cheap i3 that would at least give you 4 threads. Posted November 5, 2016 Author yeah i could have bought another board, but i got a pretty amazing deal that i couldn't pass up, i just got the g3258 because i had a different plan for it and i ended up leaving it in my current build. Once i get a good quad core, its gonna go back to its original plan and I will be getting closer to finishing my gaming rig to how i want it (ssd, more ram, and possible and aio wc) but i appreciate all the help i have been getting from all of you CPU: Intel i5 4690k @4.2ghz MOBO: Asus Maximus VI Hero-RAM:HyperX Fury 8gb PSU: Corsair CX750M-GPU: MSI 390x 8g HDD:WD Green 1TB KEYBOARD: Rosewill RGB8-MOUSE: Corsair Gaming RGB M65
