What brand should I buy for the GTX1050Ti?

I am really exhausted on how many available models or brands in the market right now on the GTX1050Ti GPU to choose from to put in in my pre-built system which doesn't have a PCI-E 1x6pin connector on the power supply. Please help me make the right decision once in for all which is the best GPU in terms of price to performance. thanks

The best price to performance would be the cheapest one. There isn't goingto be a noticable increase between any of the models, some may have different features, but they will give the same performance.

But what about the gtx1050Ti EVGA SC edition? will that card give me extra boost on games?

The most you'll get out of most overclocked cards is 5fps. The most important things to look for are cooling, aesthetics, and size.

Nothing noticable over any other gtx 1050ti. 

 

If you want price to performance look up, you can find rx 470s for the same price as the gtx 1050tis in some places, it will perform it a lot better.

i'd recommend just getting the cheapest one and do some manual overclocking if you want extra performance, paying extra for a small overclock isn't worth it imo.

Oh now ik when it is overclocked i get a 5fps difference hmm interesting. But I think your right I should really choose those type of things whether it is the size and cooling that the GTX1050Ti has. Thanks for the advices

Hmmm. I think you have a point paying a bit more in the SC edition is not a nice move or choice to make cause I will get only a little performance boost and I will be paying for like a bit more. THANKS

EVGA ACX 3.0 coolers are overall great performers. MSI gaming and Asus strix are good ones aswell. The factory clock isn't saying much these days since GPU boost goes over it anyway, however a proper cooler makes a noticable difference for GPU boost and maintaining a steady boost speed. So cooling is factor. Same goes for soundlvls.

While I wouldn't go for the most expensive 1050ti, at least get one with decent cooling. The evga Sc Is pretty much the lowest I would go (which I hate to say because it's actually a great choice), because there is quite a gap in cooling performance between it and say the normal 1050ti from evga. I don't know exactly where other brands fall though.

The EVGA SC is a very good card. The 1050 Ti doesn't require more than one fan to cool itself since it only has to dissipate <75W of heat.
