4670k trade for an FX 8core

So i've given intel a shot and i just dont like it. I realize its better, im not going to argue about intel  vs AMD but i just dont like it. I've already put it on craigslist for a trade but is there anywhere else you guys think i could put it up? I'd love to trade my 4670k+MSI GD45 for a 8350+mobo or better.

I know it probably sounds ridiculous but it really feels sluggish compared to my FX 6300. I know it shouldnt and maybe its in my head but i am an AMD fanboy. Plus i think i may have lost the silicon lottery.. 3.9ghz on 1.3v still getting 50-60c idle with an h100i

fair enough im just curious.

im assuming you put the thermal paste properly?

upgrading from a 6300 to a 4670k isnt much of an upgrade though

Yep. Even reapplied it twice. and interestingly my 6300 ran at ridiculously low temps. 10-20c idle oc'd to 4.4

Lol im just telling you what core temp told me. And thats not even that cold.. I said 10-20 not mostly 10. I live on the coast. High 40s F is normal for the winter and its rarely above 65 year round

I'm guessing what you're experiencing is more of a Placebo effect due to you saying you're a fanboy. I wouldn't bother trading for as minimal gain/loss as that.

Old shit no one cares about but me.

I wont deny that and thats exactly what im getting at. Its such a small margin of lost/gained performance that id rather just go with AMD, plus im not trying all that hard. Im looking for a trade not a sale

All you can get with 1.3v is 3.9GHz? That seems odd on the verge of defective. Also, your Fx6300 was probably your delta temps. My Fx6300 does the same thing.

Corsair 250d - - Delidded i7 4770k @ 4.4GHz (1.15v) - - Asus Maximus VI Impact - - Corsair h100i

Asus DirectCU II OC GTX780 - - NZXT x41 & G10 w/ Push/Pull Noctua IndustrialPPC's - - Corsair ax760i

16GB Corsair Vengeance 2133Mhz  - - Samsung 840 pro (boot) - - Samsung Evo (gaming) - - WD green HDD (data)

My friend has an FX 6300 and his temps are fantastic with the 212 EVO. That said, the cores of my 2500K are still stronger. :P
