Missing Cores?

hi i recently decided to open cpu z and noticed it was only saying I have 4 cores on my 6 core processor i have checked the bios and all 6 cores are enabled. i have an amd 6100. cpu z results : http://gyazo.com/00ffc0cdea9f9e737379e7148b5ae3a6

I THINK that CPU-Z only reads the physical cores and the 6100 has 4 physical and 2 logical cores (Or the other way around)

And what does Task Manager say?

What does Task Manager say? Also check the bios to see if two cores are diabled from in there.

Go into the bios and check if all the cores are activated

is it too hard to understand? your logic is wrong. An FX module has 2 cores and  FX6xxx = 3 modules , FX4xxx = 2 modules  = FX8xxx = 4 modules

Go into System Configuration - Boot - Advanced Options and check if all the cores are set to start with Windows

Does the bios register all six cores? If it does you might want to try clearing CMOS

It wouldn't hurt. Either take a screenshot of the bios or if that isn't possible just take a picture of the screen.

What options are in "CPU core Control"? That might be something. Either take a new picture or try changing it from "Auto"
