Download problem in steam client

Hi there,

Recently bought I laptop as I needed it for University work, and I bought one that can play certain games that I wanted to play.

 

Anyway, I'm trying to download 'Dota 2' to my library. As you can see in the picture, it downloads for a little amount of time, then stops...

I'm quite confused on what's going on.

 

Can anyone help?

Iv seen mine do this before. I think it stops to install files then continues.

Main system:

i7 6700k @4.8ghz 1.45v

I had this issue from time to time; The fix is either going to be changing download servers in Steam's settings, or to close Steam, delete everything from the folder but the EXE and steamapps folder, and try running Steam again. It'll reinitialize and hopefully you'll get up and running.
