dell motherboard update

hey guys, if anyone could help me I found this opttiplex 390 for 80$ on ebay it has an lga 1155 socket but has an i3-2100, I would like to know if I can update the bios so I can replace it with a skylake i5 6400 and add a graphics card to it?

no that is not possible, skylake uses a different socket

thanks, I thought it used lga 1155. So then what is the best possible processor I can fit into it then?

i7 2600, may require BIOS updates and good luck in finding a chip, I had some problems finding a ivy bridge chips

Also could you link the eBay page, because depending on the Case it might not be worth you time full stop to muck around with it because to add a GPU it needs to a full tower case and probably need a new PSU as well

A i5 2400/2500 would be a good upgrade, but the i3 2100 is still enough to handle everyday tasks and even gaming, unless you are doing massive computations why upgrade it?

You moght want to remove the link so someone else doesn't buy it. 

want to play beamng.drive (incredibly cpu intensive) and not sure how to do it on a budget (I also live in Jordan and it is prctically impossible to find something that ships here online except on ebay).

 Buy an Ebay i7 2600. I have one running in my lenovo that also shipped with an i3 2100. Worked great with no bios update.
