Posted October 16, 2016 Looking to get a pair of HD 650s while theyre on amazon uk for a good price. What would be the best way to power them with a budget of around £100? Would I be better off spending £100 on an amp, or split the money between Amp/DAC? Currently using onboard sound with Ultrasone Hfi-580. Posted October 16, 2016 If you have optical out, the SMSL SD 793-II is a great little amp that will work very well with the HD650. Hey! New SIgnature! It looks like I'll be going with the desktop version of the o2 amp as Massdrop has sold out of the standard versions, and amazon uk seems to suck for headphone amps.
