Temps cryorig r1 ultimate

Justinas
Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

Depending on the fan speeds and other variables, you should get 55-65c at load with stock speeds.

Most people can get 4.5ghz or more with such a beefy cooler but your mileage may vary depending on your chip and how comfortable you are with pushing voltages and temps.

What temps and overclock I could get with cryorig r1 ultimate on 6600k?

Based on the TDP of your processor (90 ish) and the TDP of the cooler (250 ish) you could probably get a decent overclock out of it - something like 4Ghz or 4.5Ghz - yeah, that cooler should be fine. If you do it, you should do a stresstest in windows, and make sure that your temps aren't going crazy.

You can likely do around 4.8Ghz at around ~1.4V at likely around 85Cish at the max for it. Overclocking also depends on the CPU you get since not all CPU's are made equal and some overclock better than other and the CPU does have a fairly good chance of being the limiting factor when it comes to overclocking and not the cooler at that level of cooler.
