Delete standard apps in iOS 10??

Dear members,

 

apperntly you can now delete some of the standard apps in iOS 10?

 

Any thoughts on this?

yes you can delete them. hmm my thoughts is well, its a good feature because if you are not using them just uninstall them free up some space.

Exactly! good feature for the new iOS but i wonder if you delete them can you ever reïnstall them, it;s unlikely that you can fnd the in the store cause the come pre installed on your device.

 

My device is a iPhone SE btw :)

I reckon they'll be on the app store if you can delete them. Check your updates tab in the App Store and look at all your installed apps.

I just looked through my bought apps section and my update section but there are no standard apps there.

 

Maybe I'm on to something here, could be huge flaw in the new OS or am I being a bit hasty here.

This was going to be my guess as well. You're not actually deleting them, just hiding the icon for you OCD people out there who really care that there is a folder of unused icons on your iphone screen.
