the i5 6400 is not a good buy IMO, the clock speeds are very low, the i3 6100 is a better choice if you're not getting the 6500

also don't get a 3GB 1060

Save up for a 6600k, much better cpu, also get the 6gb 1060 (The 3gb has around 10% less cuda cores) meaning less fps in games

What budget/what country/what are you using it for?

Also what's your display set up?

if it's 1080p 60hz and you'll want to upgrade eventually a free-sync display will save you some cash

otherwise an i3 6100 + RX 470 is going to be pretty good for 1080p gaming, otherwise go for the i5 6500

i5 6500 would be ur best choice. i3 is more for casual pc users : fb youtube light games...

 

It does run good still but in couple of years it ll be struggling fast compared to the i5

The 6600k will be about another $100USD extra to the build with a z170 board, and the price of the chip, about $130USD with a cooler, not worth it.

no, but i would recommend if at all possible swing for the i5-6500 and a 6GB GTX 1060 instead...it's well worth it!

Listen to these guys... its good advices loll Get the 6500 and get the 6 gb version.... 3 gb... i know games that already takes over that....
