So after 3 years time for...?

Hello!

 

Now that the Pixel is announced I was wondering what Phone should I get?

 

Currently I'm using a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy S3, yes it's old but I still works, but it is on the edge. I'm not a power user with my smartphone. I usualy use it for reading news and using messenger apps, no gaming, no watching videos etc.

So I was wodnering if I should upgrad to the Nexus 5X? Is this a go choice to repalce me old one?

Also I was hoping for a price drop due to the Pixel Launch. My Budget is around 300€.

Op3 doesn't support sprint, so thats why I have a n6p. But yeah those three options are great choices

Yeah seen this also, but it is over my personal price that i want to spent for an smartphone.

Yeah, but both alternatives are over my personal price. But thanks for the input Looked at the Oneplus family, they are really fine, but too expensive. They have a lot of features and performance that I rather will not use. So It would be a waste of ressoruces :(.

I am having a nexus 6p. 

Not a power user... but I think 6p is really good.

If you can get a deal on it, go for it. You won't regret.

How much of a difference is it to the normal 5x?

IS it worth the extra money?

In my opinion yes. Totally worth it. I am not sure but I think 1G more ram, 1080p vs 1440p screen, cameras are the same. Snap dragon 808 vs 810.

If you browse reddit you will find that a lot of people having issues with their 5X.

Namely: Overheating. and lagging. 

6p does not have that problem.

 

However do have in mind that now all this stock android thing is over, google may likely broke their promise about nexus phones. 

I bought it a few months ago, I don't regret.

If you don't care that much, just wanna a good phone to use, 6p is still a solid choice.
