Best 4K TV??

Hey guys,

 

Getting a new TV on Thursday this week. I've narrowed it down to three and the last LG (Third Listed) comes with a $200 rebate card. I don't really know enough about TV's to make a good decision. Is HDR just a joke? Will there be a difference in picture quality between these three? 

 

I wanted to get a Vizio E-Seires until I figured out that they don't include a TV-Tuner which is a must for me because I use OTA Television, Netflix, Hulu and various other online streaming services.

 

Is there any other TV's you would recommend instead?

 

If not please help me narrow down my choices of these three!

Out of those I'd get that one. I'm partial to LG personally anyway so it being the best deal is just a plus.

Yeah, it is the best deal. Its also the newest model and it has HDR. I like that the Vizio has 5 HDMI ports but I honestly don't know when I would ever need more than three HDMI ports.

I would go with a samsung one for a better panel and regional backlight dimming, but if you can only afford this much go with LG.

BIG difference between budget 4k TV's like these and the more expensive ones. I'd be worried about cheaper LG models, they tend to have HORRIBLE black levels especially the IPS panels on the LG's (based on my experience with several 1080p and 1 4k IPS from LG), definitely go look at one of those in person before buying, preferably somewhere that has it set up with lighting similar to your living room (ie NOT Walmart). Personally I wouldn't mess with a HDR 4k TV (or any 4k TV for that matter) that doesn't at least use Quantum Dot backlighting. I also wouldn't bother with a HDR if it's also not a 10 bit panel and from what I can find that LG is an 8 bit panel.

 

I'd wait till you can double your budget and get a better model with a 10 bit panel, Quantum Dot or OLED as those prices drop and just better overall.
