Can i activate win10 with a win7 code?

So yeah, i have a disc win7 home premium, but i kinda want win10 on my next computer, can i just boot win10 or do i have update later. PS. Can i boot the disc from and external USB disc bay?

Yes you can boot from the external USB disk bay, or since you're going for Windows 10 just download the installer creator and install Win 10 on a USB.

You cant use a win 7 code with win 10 no, if you want win 10 you will have to buy it annoyingly. Im not sure if you can install win 7 and then get win 10 through the free upgrade
