NZXT S340 with 400mm radiator -FX6100, R9 390

Hello,

I'm Jonas from Germany and after following and silently reading this forum for a longer time i now decided to show you my PC.

The heart of the system the FX6100 is the only part that is still in use since 4 years. Its from an prebuilt PC i bought at the time (shame on me) but updated the components (as well as the case) over the years.

 

So my specs are now:

CPU: FX6100 @ 4,3GHz

Mobo: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z

RAM: 16gb HyperX Fury 

GPU: Asus R9 390 DirectCU II

SSD: 1TB Samsung 850 Evo 

PSU: Corsair Ax860

Case: NZXT S340

Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster Z bulk

 

Watercooling Specs:

Pump: Aquacomputer Aquastream Ultimate

Waterblocks: EK-Supremacy MX

                        EK-FC R9-290(X) DCII

Radiators: MagiCool Copper Radiator - 280 mm & 120 mm

                   Phobya Xtreme 400 mm

Fans: BeQuiet Silentwings 2

Its my plan but i need to wait till christmas.

Also i want to see how good the new Amd CPUs will perform.

i'd go intel, your gona be replacing the motherboard and most likely ram if you get a new amd cpu anyway

I know, but if (not so likely to happen) the am4 cpus will perform better or at least as good as intel for a presumably better price i would at least consider going Amd.

At the moment my plans are to go with a 6700k.

i don't think the amd cpus are going to be as good as intels skylake i5/i7's. Though i don't think they will be as far behind as they have been for the last few years
