PGU in the way of Network card.

Judg3

Good day,

I have a problem with my GPU (Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 OC - GDDR5 2GB) being in the way of the PCIX1 slot where I want to install a Network card, and I don't have a second slot (location) for a graphics card. Am I completely screwed or is the way to work around this problem?

Note : I don't want to use my phone as a router or a network card.

MOTHERBOARD : Gigabyte H81M-S2PH Series Motherboard LGA 1150

NETWORK CARD I WANT TO INSTALL - http://www.takealot.com/tp-link-wn881nd-300mbps-wireless-n-pci-express-adapter/PLID28719959 OR http://www.takealot.com/tp-link-300mbps-wireless-n-pci-card/PLID28719955

I HAVE ATTACHED PICTURES!

PCI-E riser might help, but I can not guarantee it fits below the graphics card cooler. Otherwise - yes, you're screwed.

USB is probably your best option. Anything legacy PCI will be old or limited by the slot, few would be making them anyway, while USB is well supported.

You can plug an x1 card into an x16 slot as well, not the best of options but an option none the less.

Problem is those last 2 slots are actually legacy PCI and not PCI-E.

Whoops, not sure why the last slot looked like a PCI-E slot. So, scratch my idea, lol.
