Hey so I have asked for so many opinions on this build that there really shouldn't be anything left to change for me, but I wanted to get one last round of opinions first.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7qqmCy

To answer a few questions:

USD

Mostly gaming, streaming in max settings

Budget is 10000% maxed out (with the exception of upgrading to a 4k monitor if you have a value/inexpensive suggestion)

I am firm on the Black/Red theme (cablemod cables as well)

Thanks for the help and let me know what you think/have any questions about my build!

There are 2 things that kinda bother me:

First, you have no need for that 6700k. A i5-6600k overclocked would be enough, unless you are doing really pro. editing.

Second,  I would pick a better power supply with that money. The EVGA P2 650W is a really good tier 1 PSU for just $20 buck more. (Don't mention it's also platinum rated.)

Just as a tip, you won't be able to max a 4K screen with a 1070.

ditch the h60 and get a noctua d14 or be quiet dark rock pro. they perform the same, cost the same, and are quieter.

ditch the corsair fans, they're just shit honestly. get some be quiet silent wings or noctua nff series fans, far quieter performance.

as much as it may sound like fanboying, the h60 isnt a good value and the corsair fans are renown for being the loudest 'premium' fans you can get.

Hey there thanks for the input!

1 - is an i5-6600k future proof enough to last me at least 3-5 years?

2 - super picky i know but do you know if there are cablemod cables that would work with that? either all red or red/black?

3 - ah okay good to know thank you, i should be fine with 1080p then since most of my gaming has been on a shitty lap top haha

I know they have really good performance but I cannot stand the look of noctua, like not at all haha. Any suggestion that would fit my theme a little better while also having the higher performance?

1. Yes, right now, a overclocked i5-2500k could still beat a non overclocked 6700k.

2. Yes, all cablemod cables can work with any modular PSU as all the ports are the same.

3. Your 1070 can perform max settings on a 1440p display.

Okay great, ill drop to the i5, and take another look at the PSU.  Any suggestion on a value 1440p display in that case?

You're streaming so stay with the i7

Upgraded the cooler (cause the h60 is craptastic), got some slower but still red RAM and upgraded the PSU (don't bother with the EVGA P2 as that's better but the RMx is still one of the best/better gold rate PSUs so...)

Finally i know it's $20~ more

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The ports on modular psu's are not all the same. You have to get the correct set for your unit if you are buying replacement cables.

If they are just extensions though would it matter?  They aren't plugging into the PSU but rather extending the cables

Extensions are different. You can use them on any psu. It is only replacement cables that you need to match correctly.

thoughts on what I have here? Better fans/lights you can suggest that fit the theme still?

+1 for the i7 since you're not only gaming but also streaming. However if you're not really serious about the streaming part (that is you don't have an income from it or will probably not have any in the near future) you could get away with an i5. The i5 will perform very similarly even when streaming, however if you still want that extra 10% of performance go with the i7.

Regarding the cooler don't get a liquid cooler, get a silent air cooler you'll get the same performance and won't have to worry about leaks.

Also keep in mind that you will not be looking at your computer 99% of the time, you will be looking at the monitor. If you are so close at the budget you cannot buy a better monitor ditch the case coolers or get a cheaper version of the 1070 (450$ is quite a price, you can save 10-20$ from that) and get a 1440p monitor.
A better monitor not only will make your experience better but it will be able to make more use out of the GPU.

I'm glad somebody brought up the fact that if you're serious about streaming you probably need an i7 if you are using a lot of programs to help you stream. The i5 will get bogged down compared to an i7 in that use case.

Those cables are for the EVGA G2/P2.

You want these for the Corsair RMx:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/cablemod-c-series-rmi-rmx-basic-cable-kit-red.html

You only get a basic set with that which consists of the 24 pin ATX, 8 pin cpu and 2 x 6+2 pci-e.
