Prebuilts are usually terrible for the money and usually low-specced for what they cost.

i like playing AAA games and i move around all the time, suggesting taking a case,monitor,keyboard and mouse along with me every time ? plus a 17inch laptop is too big for my liking and budget. then what would you recommend for gaming on the go ?

So an Alienware 13 is AUD$1,799.00 then add a

Alienware Graphics Amplifier AUD$199.00, then a video card

GeForce GTX 1080 AUD$999.00

Will leave you with AUD$401.99 for peripherals

Aorus overheats - Gigabyte confirmed over email that temps are in the mid 90s and noise around 60dB - it's a poor laptop

The Alienware 15 is definitely a vastly superior device - better build quality, better thermals, better noise levels. Go for it. Dell support is also the best in the business.

Thing is - the CPU in the Blade Stealth bottlenecks a 960 - the 1080 is literally useless. 7500U is less powerful than the i3 6100

When you reach Alienware level thickness, you can choose between best in class battery life with the Alienware. Or best in class performance with the P750DM2.

As a side note, and in addition to my previous post the Alienware 13 that was priced has a Core i5-6200U ( Skylake ) and the reviews I noticed beat down a bit on the performance of the 13. Mostly hitting on the poor performance of the Core i7-5500U ( Broadwell ) once you connect it to the Graphics Amplifier, but both the systems have the same GTX 960M so maybe search more for a review with this Skylake CPU and the amplifier?

 

IMO I actually bought a secondhand Alienware M14x Notebook and only two things I did not like, one was the non-matte screen and two, a minor dislike of the touchpad illumination. What tipped me to buying another though was the Dell customer service, as they helped when I needed to reformat the drive without the install discs or a recovery partition. They could have just said, "nothing we can do its out of warranty sorry" after all it was built in 2011!!
