pump recomendations

Pandora

so for the past year i have been using a ddc 3.2 pump.

i believe this is the root of my problems with temperatures.

the lowest temp i run in games on my cpu and my gpu's is 60 degrees not overclocked fans cranked to max and pump at full tilt.

i was thinking about maybe trying a new pump since i have replaced every other part.

i would like a recommendation that can handle this system 240 slim rad 360 thick rad sli gtx 970's and an i7 4770k (delided)

please and thank you :)

You might want to check that your waterblocks are not clogged if your temps are that high.

A DDC is definitely enough for that loop.

You flushed your radiators before using them, I hope?

But if you want to upgrade your pump anyway (because the DDCs are hot and loud) buy a D5, any D5, and it will be awesome.

For a system with that many components, a ddc pump would be way too weak and probably strained it a lot. A D5 pump would be the recommended and would easily pump the system.

The DDC unit is a pretty powerful unit with good pressure espically since that is the 18W one, do you have a photo of the loop it may give us a better idea as to what the problem may be.

i did flush my rad's and my blocks are very very clean.

A DDC has more head pressure than a D5.

There is no reason why it should not be enough for all his components.

Sorry about that, I thought that the d5 was an all around better pump. I probably should know it before I type it.

Hmm that looks good to me nothing screams out something is wrong, btw what blocks/cards are those, is it a custom modification?

As Enderman mentioned the blocks potentially may be clogged if the loop has been up for a long time.

this issue has existed since i first made the loop. i have just lived with it. i dont think its clogged blocks.
