the SG553 is more accurate scoped and is so easy to headshot people compared to the AK

 

AK is better at spraying with its easier pattern

 

If you have tons of money, it makes sense to spend more on the SG553, also has a better ROF in close quarters  - but its awkward to use at medium distance as unscoped its shit and scoped you cant see

Depending on the map and whats happening in the game, that might not always be the best option

 

The SG give you the ability to get scoped long range shots, and also a decent SMG style weapon for storming through places instead of relying on a pistol

Yeah....no, an AK is better if you're not crap at aiming. There's a reason why the SG553 isn't really used competitively (and its not just cost).

Because its less reliably good, the spray pattern is awful for full auto so really only works in like SMG range

Really its only best when used scoped, which most pros dont want to do unless its an AWP

 

Never said I played competitively but the 553 and AUG HAVE occasionally been used successfully in pro matches
