Games today are using little over 4GB. Getting either one would be a good idea. If you're asking for 1060 vs 1070, get the 1070 if you can afford it.

That^

If it's 1060 vs RX480, I'd go 1060.

Get the rx 480 instead of a  gtx 1060. You'll be happier.

Personally I'd get different RAM since that's a little pricey.

@Killtowin09

I like your build you picked out.  It appears you want to overclock your CPU.  If so, I recommend faster ram if you can afford it.

With a 1070 in there you should ahve about 300 to 700 for a monitor, keyboard and mouse.  I highly recommend you pick these three things out first.  A super awesome rig needs a good monitor and inputs so you can enjoy it.  We can cut somethings down if needed.

XFX has swappable fans (if it breaks they can send you new fans), ASUS has LEDs, MSI/Gigabyte/Powercolor are standard cards with varying overclocks. They all perform the same tbh, so just get whichever one you like best or buy it because of an extra feature.

Moreso if you get their matching motherboard.

That's some expensive RAM! I wouldn't spend more than $70 on 16gb for 2400mhz:

Or $80 for 2666mhz:
