What to put inside a 256gb ssd?

IAEInferno

My build has a plan on having a Samsung 950 pro 256gb ssd and a Samsung 850 pro 1tb for gaming and a 4tb hdd for storage.

What should I put on the Samsung 950 pro 256gb drive?

Uhh, personally I'd probably put my drafting software (AutoCAD/Inventor). As well as the game I'm currently playing (or GTA 5 because that thing takes forever to load, even on an SSD)

I will only use this PC as a means for gaming, movies and music.

I have other concerns as well:

1.Is there a boost in speed if I put the anti-virus on the 950 pro?

2.Will I get a boost in fps if I put the Graphics card software on the 950 pro?

3.Will the internet browser become faster if I put it on the 950 pro?

4. Will my OS, Graphics card software, Hard drive software, anti-virus, internet browser fit on a 256gb SSD without causing any problems?

id say put all your 64bit programs on the M.2 as they can be power hungry.

anything that isnt power hungry dont put on there: browser, antivirus, skype/discord. . . basically if you can run it on a pc tablet then you dont need it on a M.2 drive

1. no

2. no

3. I believe if you for example in Chrome have it set so all your old browser tabs open once you open Chrome again, it will make it faster. If you just open to a new tab or 1-3 homepages it wont speed up stuff.

4. yea. OS is about 40GB, GPU software is fairly small, not sure what HDD software is (or do you mean crystalmark?), antivirus usually is around 1GB and For example Chrome is too.

I have never used either, so can't really comment on them (but I doubt the first at least is that big)

It's okay, I just hope that a 256gb ssd would be enough.
