If the pcpartpicker is what you're going with the rig, then I believe you can spend much more than 300 for monitor...

I would suggest 1440p and above for that kind of rig..

Why would you spend 4K on a dual GPU system and ask for a $300 monitor?

4K for the rig and 300 for the device that actually shows what the aforementioned 4K bring to the table .. seriously? You might as well use your toaster or waffle iron as a monitor ...:ph34r:

 

With that kind of money go with something that can show porn in UWQHD like this one:  ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q, 34" (90LM02A0-B01370)

Its got G-Sync and pixies and rainbow farting unicorns and whatnot... :-)
