MSI X99A RAIDER vs MSI X99A SLI PLUS

MSI X99A RAIDER vs MSI X99A SLI PLUS which one is better will be using Intel Core i7 5820K with as far as oc I can get or my cooling supports kraken x41 or Deepcool Assasin II

 

Need help before the sale ends Thanks a lot.

nwm got myself a MSI X99A GAMING 7 from another sale i found online hopefully will get them on Wednesday.

 

now another major problem what memory size and config to get do i really need dual or quad channel ?

Why bother with a 6 core x99 build if you're actually considering running without quad channel?

after paying all my pizza money to cpu and motherboard - i am just considering buying one 16gb module first and than moving to 4 16gb modules as the time comes in following 3 months or just eat some pasta and get 4x8gb modules now and run it like that since the most i use now is 28gb ram when editing and stuff. ?

Eat pasta bud!  

 

Get the 4 x 8gb set and you'll still have 4 DIMM slots remaining for future expansion.

 

Don't bother running a single memory channel with a x99 build.  It's against the law in some countries to do so.
