XB271HU Stand Dimensions

HungryHamster

Does anyone know the dimensions of the stand for the Acer Predator XB271HU? I'm worried about the length and width. I've literally checked everywhere and made a post on the Acer forums with no answer. Maybe if someone has this monitor/stand, they could do a quick measure? I'd really appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Ok so I couldn't find any info so I used math cause why not

(H x W x D)  15.80" - 21.70" x 24.20" x 10.60" (with Stand)

Height is from bottom of the stand to top of the screen. It is a 27 inches widescreen (16:9). 16:9 is the ratio between its 2 size of the monitor. We know the diagonal (which is 27) so doing some simple math

NVM somebody already did it

Thank you so much for this information! I've been trying to figure it out all day.

No problem! I have this monitor and it's great!

Ok so I couldn't find any info so I used math cause why not2

Tech specs of the monitor:

(H x W x D)  15.80" - 21.70" x 24.20" x 10.60" (with Stand)

Height is from bottom of the stand to top of the screen. It is a 27 inches widescreen (16:9). 16:9 is the ratio between its 2 size of the monitor. We know the diagonal (which is 27) so doing some simple math

We know the Pythagorean theorem states that

"The square of the hypotenuse(the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides"

Applying it here we have let's say which will be the height of the monitor (w/o stand) and w for width

h2+w2=d2 (d is diagonal)

h/w=16/9 (the ratio)

h=16/9 * w (simple math don't ask why)

replacing h in the first equation we have

(16/9*w)2+w2=d2

after simplyfying a bit we get

337w2/81 = d2

which then lead us to

w = square root of (81 * d2 / 337)

we know that d (diagonal) is 27

so a calculator shows us that width is approx. 13.237 inches

we know width

so h=16/9 * w = 23.5325 inches

Focus more on the width. I measured the picture with my ruler to be 5 inches. The stand (s) is 3.7 inches

So w/s = 5/3.7 = 1.35

That is the ratio between width and stand

23.5325/1.35=17.4 inches

So the stand is around 17.4 long which is not surpringsing me

I can't measure exactly the depth from front to back because too much time and I don't know exactly the angle

Wow, yes it was and you didn't have to spend ~$750 to get the measurements lol

Actually I am impressed that the difference is only .1 inch. Sick
