THE IMPACTER

So first of hello everyone my name is Martin and im from Denmark.

So lets get started.

I have never done a custom watercooling so this is a first for me if you got any inputs plz let me know.

the main theme of this build is going to be Red and Black (of course) alot of my inspiration comes from watching alot of other builds researching and stuff.

i want this to be as clean as possible when its done so im prolly gonna make a custom front top and side panel.

Lets get started!

- Recived some of the components needed for my Little Impacter

NYR9Yvu.jpg

Before the stripping of the case

CoJIaGM.jpg

BTrnTYc.jpg

Time to pull this little fella appart

5qTcjDZ.jpg

Drilling out the rivvets so i can turn the front upside down (or else the fan connector wont fit cause of the H100i in the top of the case.

28KTC96.jpg

luckily i had one of theese in my shed.

ml2hWjk.jpg

and off it goes super easy should anyone want to try this.

Pb2FGQk.jpg

and now its back on again.

Starting the assembly MB Front 230mm Fan and Back 140mm fan is in

rWzA6Q6.jpg

8ed31g2.jpg

In goes the H100i and the 16Gb of Memory.

Skn1yOr.jpg

I switched the original fans from the H100i with the SP 120 Quiet Edition

Es2N8o3.jpgMuv9Ymb.jpg

at first i mounted the SSD here but changed my mind later on since i didnt have room for my WD Black

DYcoXCg.jpg

Time to install the fan controller

v5bKLtH.jpg

The problem with this is the 5.25 bay is to big to sit in the bottom of the case and i needed the mounting holes for the Fan controller so i made a CHOP CHOP

N5WDqr5.jpgI074TwT.jpg

So now it fits ( I actually ended up not using the mount at all but pictures will show later. )

wUWFrvd.jpg

The PSU Would actually fit normally in the case but u had to use quite some force to get it in there. so i found some old MB standoffs and used theese to get a little bit of ekstra room

fGwZefq.jpg7zQCAxM.jpg

This is it for now since im waiting for more material to continue building  but here are some tempoary piuctures.

YDx2crl.jpg I know the color looks pink but its really not the flash from my phone turned i....

Its a nice Dark Red

sBPUQ0Z.jpgCEpxra4.jpgMKaz2NY.jpg

And a overview of my desktop ( its a bit messy yes )

3LAV1D0.jpg

Future Plans Include

  • Full Custom Watercooling
  • Custom Start / Reset Switch on the left side of the case
  • Custom temp Sensor Display on the Left side of the case.
  • Custom Side Panels
  • Custom Sleeved Cables and Plugs.

All will be made in poly carbon glass and Aluminium Plates

I hope u liked it so far stay tuned for more updates

Write a comment if u have any good advice for me or my build :)

Thanks Everyone!!

That side panel is beautiful!

its actually just stock bitfenix makes them as optional accesories

but i am planning on making a bigger window on each side of the case

and allso make a cutout on the left panel for mounting the new buttons and temp sensor inside the case.

This is sick as hell. I'M LOVING IT!!!

Thanks man stay tuned im not even 50% done with the build.

Very nice and clean setup.  As a big fan of guages stat displays, a +++ for the stat/guage display in front and looking forward to your future plans.

Btw... is it the camera color or is the case trimming hot pink?

Awesome job mate!

maybe ditch that case badge? Just my opinion, you don't have to follow it.

its the camera flash that makes the trimming pink the real color is a dark red

im going to make a custom front to fit a 120 mm Radiator and a NB Eloop fan so the badge will be gone when that happens :)

Wow this looks really good! I love how you flipped the front panel around, and used the ROG logo on the front. Very tasteful. Can't wait until the liquid cooling comes.

Im actually considering if i should change the case for the bitfenix phenom mini itx it has a more clean look to it and i allready have some awsome ideas for modding it .

Windowed sidepanels change the black mesh to red mesh with some pulsating lightning behind the mesh
