PSU question

Hello people of the internet , i have a question that may seem stupid. I have a CoolerMaster GX 650W Bronze PSU and i plan on upgrading my pc with a i7 6700k and a gtx 1070 so will that PSU be any good for those 2 beasts or  should i get a new one ?

I'm pretty sure you will need a new one, especially with overclocking.

The power supply is fine. I've seen no more than 250W from the wall with a single high end video card and an overclocked CPU. Someone else measured no more than 450W off the wall with a full burn in (which you have to intentionally do).

it's probably fine, but if you want to check just put all of your system parts into pcpartpicker.com and check the system wattage

650W is plenty, 500W is is fine for that system. I doubt it would ever pull more than 400W from the wall.

Pretty sure you should be good, I think it'd only need 600W with the overclocking and your system in itself, very rare you need more than 600-750W

650w should be plenty, IMO.

it should be enough, but just be sure that your psu has enough power connectors for 2x1070

What is the series (GX I, GX II, GX II Pro, GX Storm edition)? What is the model of the PSU (eg. RS-650-...)?
