Better specifications, worse performance

Rubi8602

Hello! I don't undestand that much about PC's build or total PCs. So I downloaded a PerformanceTest program and I ran benchmark test, then I compare my stats with another tested PC and the other one completed it better. Well the question is that I see my computer has higher specifications but didn't complete the test that well, so can you explain me why the other one get higher stats then mine. It is about the CPU?

The green line is my computer:

Here are specifications. (Right is my computer):

So at the end the Core2 Duo won the 2D and 3D Mark

So how I said: I don't understand that much so dont hate 9_9 :)

Simply the computer with a better graphics card is doing better in graphics benchmarks. I don't see anything strange there.

Okay thx for the replys. Is there any sense to buy a good graphics card on this processor or first I have to upgrade the processor? For exaple if I pick  NVIDIA GeForce GT 730, 2048MB, DDR3

That card is about 5 times as powerful as your current graphics so I say that it is not a bad choice. If you can spend an extra $60 (USD) you can get a card over 5 times as powerful as the GT 730. That card is the R9 380.

Well in my country the GT 730 is something about 70$ and i think worth it. P.s Now i am running CS:GO at 30/25fps... Do you think the GT 730 will help to reach 60fps? To know if I need more powerful then GT 730 :):D

Like @SpaceGhostC2C said, 3D graphics benchmarks have more to do with the GPU than the CPU...

Please don't, the GT and R5 series are NOT worth it.

Check for a used GPU, you can find a good one for $50.

Good used GPUs for light gaming are;

HD7750

HD7770

HD7850

GTX 750ti

GTX 650ti

GTX 560ti

Etc... You could also get a new one for cheap that is WAY better than a GT730 but still affordable:

R7 360

I am from Europe, Bulgaria and about the GPU I am searching for DDR3. Thanks for the tips! :)

These are affordable GPUs:

Like I said earlier, the GT series isn't worth the money! Same with the R7 240 and 250 ...

For the same price with a used GPU you're gonna get better performances;

GT 730 vs HD7750 (scroll down to find Average User Bench)

GT 730 vs HD7770 (scroll down to find Average User Bench)

GT 730 vs GTX 650ti (scroll down to find Average User Bench)

For the budget you REALLY should look into a used GPU, you'll have better performance for the money, also forget trying to resell a GT730, it's not worth much as a used card.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO DONT GET IT.

As @wkdpaul said there is no good reason to ever get a gt GPU for gaming. That GPU is bad and isn't worth the money for gaming. Look for a used GPU but not a used "gt" GPU. Look for a GTX one or some decent AMD GPU.

@DocSwag , well I can't get it on my computer anyway. It's not compatible with my motherboard. So I am searching for DDR3 video card that is compatible with my motherboard, so that means I cannot get a good gaming video card even if I want to :(. One of compatible GPUs is GeForce GT 730. I found so many different GT 730s and Radeon R7s that are not compatible. And the other way is to buy a motherboard, then a processor and finaly the GPU.... :/

Where are you getting the information that certain GPUs aren't compatible with your motherboard? I'm curious because ddr5 video cards should be able to work with your mobo.
