Vega vs 1070

What the title says....I want to know if y'all think it's worth waiting for vega, or to get a 1070

Probably not worth waiting. At best it will probably only be slightly faster than anything Nvidia has to offer right now.

Unless you want Gameworks functionality then I'd wait for Vega. It'll be worth it.

1070, because all the time you get to use it until vega is actually released and affordable will be worth any difference in price.

Just like with the RX480 everything will sell out and the ones that don't will cost 150% MSRP.

(old one dying, old one doesnt run games with the settings you want anymore, straight up no gpu at the moment, etc.)

Keep your r9 390 until Vega

I think the current rumor is that Vega could be launched sometime in the first half of 2017. And that doesn't even guarantee availability which has been a serious recurring problem with this generation's launches from both companies. Point is, you could be waiting a long time before you actually get an RX 490.

I would wait, it is just until Q1 or Q2 of 2017 anyway...
