Budget PC (I guess)

SteamedCabbage

Hey all, my friend recently asked me to put together a list of computer components for him as he'd like to build a computer. His budget is £550 and he already has ram, here is the list I put together http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/RxzMVY . I was torn between the i5 6500, the i5 4460 and the AMD FX-8350. He won't be doing any overclocking and as I said has the RAM and all peripherals. If any of you would like to submit a good build then feel free as we are still open to suggestions (We do not need an operating system). Many thanks, SteamedCabbage

That power supply will burn you, your computer, your house, and anything in the house.

Switch it for something like a CX550m or a Seasonic S12II 520.

Also get a GTX 1060 or RX 480 in there, 970s aren't worth it anymore.

The i5-6500 only works with DDR4 and the 8350 and 4460 only work with DDR3.

The 6500 is the best option if you have DDR4 ram or can buy some, also don't get a GTX 970, the GTX 1060/RX 480 cost about the same and perform better.

The 4460, it beats my friend's 8350 in gaming unless you want to overclock, then the 8350.
