Chrome not working

when I open chrome this pops up.

on any site. new tab and settings. everything.

any idea? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried restarting your PC and router?

What does "learn more" tell you?

it just goes to another "aw, snap something went wrong while displaying this page" page

Microsoft Edge is working.

I have restarted my PC, tried reinstalling Chrome, but that didn't solve the problem.

try uninstalling chrome, reboot the computer, then installing it again

in that exact order

Have you tried the portable versions of chrome, By using a portable version you essentially garuntee that chrome will install to a DIFFERENT place and therefore use brand new files. 

also I assume you tried the reset button in chrome settings and try using a different user in chrome

yeah tried switching users but the screen just goes white, and I don't know how to reset.

Make sure that there are no random proxy settings enabled in or related to Chrome.
