for the longest time, I never understood why people bought into the name brand tech products. mainly apple stuff like ipods, macbooks, etc., but now I think i'm starting to understand. After watching the latest video on new new new razer blade.... oh dayum. contemplating selling my soul to get my hands on one of those. i know it's totally impractical, totally unnecessary, totally overpriced. someone please talk some damn sense into me!

Do you really need a laptop? Do you have a desktop already? If so then just use the money for the blade on upgrades for that as you'll get more performance for your money.

If you have both of those things then you don't need the new Blade. Save your money for when you actually need something.

i definitely wouldn't toss away $2k like that tbh, i've been contemplating dropping some of my hardware on CL or something to come up with the cash.

Do you plan on actually moving around with your laptop, or are you going to do what most people I know do and keep the laptop on a desk at home?

If it's the latter, use the money to upgrade your current desktop and get a really good monitor... and some peripherals while you're at it haha

EVE (My Gaming Build)

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger - CPU: Intel i5 4690k @ Stock Speeds - Cooling: Phanteks TC-12DX - PSU: Corsair RM750 - GPU: MSI GTX 1070 - Storage: 1x 120gb Samsung 830 Evo SSD (OS Drive) | 1x 120gb Hyperx 3k SSD (Audio Editing) | 1x 480gb Sandisk Ultra II SSD (Games) | 1x 1TB Hard Drive (Mass Storage) - Case: NZXT Phantom 530 - Misc: NZXT Hue RGB LED and controller

The new Razer Blade 1060 is trash.

95C on fresh overwatch run on non-sustained load. What do you think happens when you try to play Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 or Xcom 2? Your laptop kills itself from overheating.

if that is how you feel. Please go buy a razer blade stealth.

*HOWEVER* before doing so, please delete your LTT account. Buying into brand tech which is known to be inferior means your judgement is severely questionable, and any opinion you may have on the subject would be detrimental to the progression and benefit of others on these forums and or the internet itself.

The fact that buying a Razer Blade is about equal to buying into pyramide games and 3rd degree burns at the same time.
