RX 480 OR GTX 1060?

Hello, I'm planning to buy a good bang for the buck GPU for around the$200-250 range. And the two cards I've come across by a lot is the RX 480 and the GTX 1060 6GB & 3GB. Which one would you consider the best for gaming?

RX 480 8gb model.

I've got one and it's the absolute best.

I won't know you're talking to me unless you reply/quote me.

current drivers for 480 do have problems but should later be fixed other than that if you were to get 480 it definitely should not be the reference model

Those driver problems were solved ages ago.

I've got this specific model and it runs like a buttery-smooth dream. It plays a lot of games without even spinning up the fans.

For the most part, the RX 480 just going to give you the best bang for your buck. The GTX 1060 6 GB is better, but not really $50 better, and sometimes its performance is completely overlapped by the RX 480. This is pretty much the same thing that happened last generation with the GTX 960 versus the R9 380, with the only difference being AMD's card was released first this time.

The GTX 1060 3 GB is a bit cut-down even outside of memory, so you may see even worse results. However, it all depends on the games you're playing.

I've decided to go for the RX 480 4GB but which one specifically should I get? MSI, Sapphire, Asus, Gigabyte?

I have a NZXT S340.

mostly the name brand id say, the color, sometimes the capability of cooling some cards have better cooling capability than others like the reference model is a blower style and the strix and msi is a opened air design with dual or 3 fans overlapping a heatsink
