Problems with ads

Chivpcgamer

Hi guys, recently did a fair bit of downloading, n64 emulator, adobe photoshop, and a few games.

Ive now got these ads that pop up between web pages, theyre video ads, usually i phone 5 and literally stop the next webpage loading up. Ive disabled all the ad ons on ie9 but cant seem to stop these ads or find the file.

Funny thing is i unticked all the free stuff when i downloaded those programs. Any advice would be apreciated. Thanks,

Scan for malware and viruses. i would recommend avast home or malwarebytes.

Called adware. That's why you don't pirate stuff.

Downloading emulators is legal, but downloading ROMs is not. ;) As for the actual question though, definitely give Google Chrome a try, in any case it will vastly improve your browsing experience.

just download avast home for free and scan your system

I do have avast, i'll run a scan but i dont think its a virus im sure its adware attached to either the free adobe file or the emulator

if adware is not clever enough, it will not affect the newly installed browser (like chrome in your case) . give avast a go because if its adware avast should detect it
