iTunes not letting iPad sync/not responding?

LukeS

So whenever I plug my iPad into my computer and load up iTunes (I need to sync my iPad Calander with my windows laptop, and apparently the only way to do that is via iTunes), iTunes freezes. I tried going to iTunes>Edit>Preferences, but that also freezes iTunes. I need help ASAP because I have classes that I need scheduled that are on my iPad. Thanks

Try reinstalling iTunes?

I am going to, I just wanted to know if the community had an alternative route before I delete all my backups to all my apple devices.

You might be able to save some of those backups inside the iTunes folders.. Maybe.

But yeah, judging by the amount of replies i'm assuming that there arent many other ideas out there

Update:
So what I ended up doing was making a new apple ID and transfering all the iCloud files to that. Then I synced my calanders/contacts that I needed. Thanks for the help guys! Sometimes the easiest solution is not always the most ethical/logical.
