GeForce GTX Titan XP

Any thoughts on the Titan XP? Is it suitable for 4k Gaming? On Ultra settings in AAA Games?

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

Overpriced. Don't buy it.

Get two 1080s if you really need the power of a Titan XP.

To correct you, it is not a GTX, it is just the Nvidia Titan XP.

And yes, it is the only card capable of UHD 60fps on nearly maxed out settings.

Honestly I would get a 1080 ( ti ) for ~700$ instead, and with the extra $ get something else

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

It's a great card if you have the money and want to immediately shoot anyone down in GPU conversations.

It does very well in 4K@60 with almost every properly programmed title.

I would advise stepping down AA since 4K does very well when it comes to "jaggies".

If you want to get it, go ahead.

If you want 4K@60, go with the 1080 and get a 2nd when you need it.

Depends where you're from too, here in Canada a good 1080 sli will cost you 2200$ where a titan xp will cost you 1600$.

Titan xp with EK waterblock means you can overclock it at its max potential giving you an extra 9-10% gain in 4K which is huge honestly. It can run any AAA games at ultra with a stable 60 FPS and above no problem.

Some people would tell you to wait for 1080ti, others will tell you there won't be a 1080ti. All there is to know is that the titan xp is the most powerful single card by far for now.

The main issue with this card is the fact its already overpriced by 200$ over the already overpriced margin that was 1000$USD previously so devaluation is to consider especially if a 1080ti comes out with similar performance for less money.

My thoughts are in the name of the card itself: Titan eXtremely Pricey.

No need to elaborate a post when the card names itself after my thoughts xD

It's overpriced bling, just get two cheaper cards and put them in SLI.

I won't know you're talking to me unless you reply/quote me.

Thoughts - Titan = $$$ = lots of the FPS = awesome = beautiful games

But like the other ppl say, probably smarter to buy a pair of nice 1080's.

4690K // 212 EVO // Z97-PRO // Vengeance 16GB // GTX 770 GTX 970 // MX100 128GB // Toshiba 1TB // Air 540 // HX650

Logitech G502 RGB // Corsair K65 RGB (MX Red)

By the time I can afford the Titan XP, there will probably be a 1080ti available. If so, I'd of course go for the 1080ti...

You just need 1 titan xp for a stable 60 FPS on 4K, especially if its OC.

1080s in SLI obliterate anything in 4k on Ultra settings, Titan is pointless  at the moment. Unless of course you only want 1 card, then yes.

i,m not sure about that.... lol

Why not? I have a 165hz 1440p monitor and a 4k monitor and my 1080s @2100mhz eat through any game (that supports SLI of course). Hell even 980ti's in SLI did in almost every title.
