Unboxing vids are stupid. Who cares what the friggin box looks like or whats printed on the box or what accessories came in the box.

lol you'd think that, but MANY MANY LTT forum users and LMG viewers love unboxings, and wish Linus would go back to his roots and do more of them.

 

In fact, LTT was built upon Unboxings as one of the core videos they started out doing. Almost 90% of LTT videos used to be unboxings.

I like unboxing, but not regular unboxings.

The way Linus did it, adding his own insight and knowledge about the various products he unboxed was great. Because you learned something instead of just seeing some random product you don't care about.

 

In any case, Dbrand has been good for LTT over the years, I don't care what potentially shady thing they might be doing with other youtubers. As long as they don't screw the LTT community up, they can do whatever they want elsewhere quite frankly. I'm also sick of all this youtube drama.

Honestly behavior like this shouldnt be supported just because you are not affected directly or the specific youtube page you like is affected.

 

Suppose you buy a game on PC and its an absolute shit port. but the ps4 version is completely fine and runs smoothly. Ps4 user says "As long as they don't screw the PS4 version up, they can do whatever they want with xbox/PC versions quite frankly"

Everybody wants to win. It sucks when you lose. But when someone with 1 post count wins, I don't immediately assume this is a viewer who isn't an LTT fan.

 

I assume they are an LTT fan who sticks to YouTube. You know, like the majority of his fans do.

 

We forum users are the small (Seriously, we make up like 1/6th of the total LTT fanbase) minority of LTT fans. It doesn't feel like it, since we're active all the time, and we often discuss things that happen in LMG videos, but we only make up about 16.5% of the LTT viewers.

It is true we are very small but a LTT fan from YouTube that wins on the forum I would think would post another time saying how they won or any type of follow up. I guess I just wish I could know who won and the amount of joy or their plan for it.
