Hello all.

I am sorry for my Language , because I am from Latvia( its small Europe country)

One day I try to turn on my desktop pc, but nothing happens, black screen, fans are spinning but nothing else. I try all, different psu, ram, cpu, vga nothing help. Try without cpu heatsink the cpu didnt warm up. I pop all my companents to other motherboard and all was perfect. So I am 100% sure that its motherboard foult. So I grap a board and receipt and ride to store where I buy it, but unexpectedly store was closed so I cant get repair or replace there. Ok I go back to home and try contact to gigabyte RMA, I told all this story to them but all I get was ''Based on our record this SN is out of region. You may return it back to the store(vendor) for a refund or replacement.'' The board is Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H

I bought motherboard at 21.05.2015, and I read that gigabyte gives 3 year warranty to there motherboards. But looks like its works only in USA and CANADA.

Come on gigabyte!! What else I can do now? This question I write them, but they considered that them dont need to answer that.

So I dont know what to do now? Maybe someone can give advice?  I know that Latvia is a small country in Europe but that does not mean they can do that.

Linus keep doing what you do,  we watch you here in Latvia too.

Contact the store. Most companies do warranties this way. If a product is taken out of the area they wont honor. So Id contact the store and see what they can do. If they dont do nothing, then contact what ever part of your government that handles consumer protections.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

The fact of the matter is all companies I have dealt with have this policy. It just like if you buy a Google Nexus device in the US. The warranty is only good in the US. There are very few instances I have seen companies have a "International Warranty". This is not the fault of Gigabyte, its the retailer. They scammed you. I wonder if your motherboard fell off a truck or something. Seeing how the retailer no longer exists, that very well could be the case. Id contact your government or contact an attorney. Any way you look at it, Gigabyte has a warranty policy in place, which is the policy they are going to follow. The only way to change it, is to bitch to your government or get an attorney and threaten legal action.

Nothing to do with that, the store sold him a product not meant to be sold in the EU. All companies track their items by serial numbers.

Thats why you need to buy from reputable sellers.

Linus is my fetish.

Still, GB's RMA is close to that of ASUS, aka, horrible.
