According to many reviews, the HyperX Cloud Revolver is such a great headset but ruined(?) by its flaw that inspires me to create this thread- the metal frame that a lot of reviewers find annoying, irritating, unforgiving because it transmits a lot of noise when it comes in contact with something else or when you just shake your head. And to fix that I'm wondering if I could wrap leather around the metal frame in attempt to eliminate that problem. Opinions anyone?

But I like the looks of it though, well what else would you recommend. I want auto-adjusting headband, that means things like Kingston HyperX Cloud II is out, I don't want ridiculous led like the Steelseries Siberia 350 so that one's out too.

I suggest

not getting a gaming headset and looking for some proper headphones and a mod mic

Like I want a Philips X2 Fidelio so bad but I don't have the money for that, for my location, the pricing is so odd like for some reason, the HyperX Cloud Revolver, in my location, is cheaper than the Cloud II so the "having a max budget" doesn't apply to my case.

I guess thats lucky that the price is so low

Fidelios and a mod mic would be pretty epic :D but there are other cheaper headphones that sound better than gaming headphones

but everything will cost more than what you are proposing so really its what you are willing to invest

Because I'm getting a 1080 and cuz of shipping and stuff, the shops in where i live don't have aftermarket price. For instance, a GTX 980 Ti still costs about 900 USD. I guess I'll try to get my dad to get me a Massdrop x AKG K7XX Audiophile Headphone

Just, the pricing of stuff in my area is just so bewildering, for example, a logitech g933 nearly is twice the price of the HyperX Cloud Revolver.

Akg K7XX or Whatever the non-massdrop one is.

Siberia elite?

I guess it would help reduce the noise but not completely eliminate it. I've thought of the same thing when I watched the NCIX Tech Tips' review on YouTube. That ting sound is so loud. I can't imagine what it is like hearing it while wearing the headset. Apparently you can also hear the cord drag on your clothes too which isn't good either.
