PCIe slot question

Go to solution Solved by Vitalius,

It is not possible to combine two PCI-e 1x slots (or any PCI-e slots) for more bandwidth/power/etc in a normal consumer system.

Hey there everyone, I have a question. If I buy a PCIe x1 to PCIe 16x riser cable I will lose bandwidth. I would like to ask if it is possible to find cables or whether it is possible at all to use two PCIe 1x slots to power one PCIe 16x slot for more bandwidth?
