Why would you need to do this? Do you mean as in taking down other users posts? If a post is abusive or goes against the forum rules, simply report it.

No I mean if a user wants to remove a post that they posted onto someone else's/another user's profile.

There's report button for every such post. Use it.

Yeah, no. That would encourage trolling and abusive behaviour. Report it. But for most threads shouldn't even need to be removed.

I just hate to bother the mods with something as relatively unimportant as deleting my old or useless posts. It just seriously bothers me as a person who's never seen the inability to delete your own content on a website without reporting it.

 

I'm just a prissy person. Don't mind me, heh.

Removing status updates that you post on another user's profile? I'm fairly sure you can already do that - click the options button, and there should be a hide button there.

That only works for the user's own profile, not another user's. 

 

The option button does not appear when it is posted to another user's profile.

Ah, ok. I'm going to say that it's working as intended then, in the same way that you can't remove forum posts or PMs, to prevent abuse. If you want it removed, report it.
