Is there a difference between a single channel and a dual channel?

I'm going to buy a Mini ITX Case and I don't know, what is better..a single channel with 16 GB or a dual channel with 16 GB

yes there is. dual channel doubles the bandwidth to read or write to the ram

better watch a few videos on that before you go buying ram in pairs thinking it actually makes much of a difference.
