Posted August 20, 2016 So, I have a lot of spare parts lying around in my house so I have decided to build a low end gaming PC. This should be fun. Here's what I have lying around: HP Compaq d530 CMT case (can accept microATX boards) 160GB SATA drive 320GB SATA drive 4GB DDR2 (2x1GB 1x2GB) Nvidia GeForce 6600 550 watt ATX PSU Intel Pentium E6500 Intel Desktop Board DG946GZIS Here's what I have sourced from some awesome IT teachers at school who let me take some of their old parts ATI Radeon X1300 4GB DDR2 (this is because the motherboard only has 2 ram slots and I wanted to get two 2gb ram) TV card Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 I do plan to get a better PSU off Ebay and a Radeon HD 5770. (I have a $200 spending limit with extra purchases.) I also don't know whether if I should use the 2 Duo or the Pentium so your thoughts are appreciated. I will update more so stay tuned!
