So today, my HyperX Cloud II headset has stopped working. im only getting sound through one earpiece. 

tried unplugging and plugging it in

tried juggling the wire and it seems to work intermittently

unfortunately Warranty from Kingston is only 6 Months and i've had it for 8

any help?

If you cant get warenty, its a pretty easy fix probably, just open them up and re solder the cable (probably)

I'd contact kingston anyways.. might as well try.

6 months warranty? really?

 

Here i got good headphones for $7 and got 2 years of warranty,but they ended up fucking up since the cable would not be flexible and would get tangled and i could not receive any audio,but they were comfy and good and had 2 years of warranty

My Cloud 1 did this as well. I found the cable was broken at the headphones jack so @iamdarkyoshi replaced the cable with a (slightly) more robust 4 poll jack and that worked except you would likely need an adapter from 4 poll to 3 poll mic and headphones for use on a computer. Most phone/tablets have 4 poll ports.

If Kingston wont help you and you don't want to do the repair I can do it for you.
